I am a noaidi
Animal glue

I am a noaidi consists of 175 skeletal parts cast in animal glue. The skeleton is cast from a life-size PVC plastic anatomical medical skeleton, which in turn is a cast of a human skeleton. Bone glue consists of waste parts from the animal industry, and gets its adhesive effects by soaking in water and heating. The work is placed on a compacted ground of soil.

I am a noaidi is a work created for the solo exhibition HOLLOW BONES at the Nordic House in Tórshavn on the Faroe Islands, a collective exhibition with a total of 13 invited artists.
For the HOLLOW BONES exhibition a joint catalog was produced for all participating artists: SÁPMI Stories.
